“College Dreams Become A Reality”

Over the past 5 years  the Nicholas County Community Foundation has awarded over $65,000 in scholarships to students from Nicholas County. In Spring of 2014 the first of the Seelinger Entrepreneurial Scholarship recipients graduated from college, while eight other local students are continuing their education. NCCF currently has 7 scholarship funds, the  Paul Nettles Scholarship is awarded to a student athlete from Richwood High School, the James and Elizabeth Skidmore Memorial Scholarship focuses on academic achievement of a RHS student, the Tomsho Memorial Scholarship was established by...

A grant from the NCCF Seelinger Family Fdn Fund provided more than 900 meals to families in need in Nicholas County.  Since 2009, the Nicholas County Community Foundation has distributed more than $200,000 in grants to non profit organizations, throughout our community.
