Apply for a Grant

The Nicholas County Community Foundation knows that our quality of life is enhanced by a diverse and healthy nonprofit sector.  That is why we encourage nonprofit organizations in  Nicholas County to apply for our competitive grant making funds.  Grant awards typically range from $500 – $15,000.  The annual deadline to submit a grant request is September 1st.  Applicant organizations are notified around November 1st of the status of their grant request. No work on a proposed grant project may begin until notification of grant funding has been received.

Applications for the 2024 grant distributions will be available early June.  Each grant applicant should download and read a copy of our most current grant application guidelines as well as the grant application.  We have provided links below for both documents in PDF format.  If you prefer a copy be emailed to you please send us a note at [email protected].
